About Me
Photography isn't just a passion, it's a journey, it's an adventure, a lifestyle. I started Photography when I was 19, and ever since, it has changed my life. My perception of life and the world has slowly changed over time, seeing it for the beauty that it truly is. This beauty is what I aspire to capture, whether it be the stunning Landscapes of the world, the dazzling night sky through Astrophotography, the beautiful moments captured during a wedding, and the representations of an individual's inner beauty through Portraiture. This is what Photography really is.
A little about me.
Latvian Origin - moved to Scotland back in 2004 and grew up in a small town called Peterhead. This move alone opened up the opportunities for me to grow as an individual and pursue the dreams I had. I now live closeby in a city called Aberdeen. My dream was always to be a Personal Trainer. I truly found passion in health, sport, and being teaching this expertise. I followed this dream all the way to my Higher National Diploma in Health Sciences and became a Personal Trainer.
But how did you begin photography?
It all started with a Nikon D3300. As soon as I got my hands on this piece of equipment, my life changed before my eyes. I've always enjoyed learning and partaking in new hobbies, and this was one of them. What I didn't know, was that it would be the most incredible thing I have ever found. My previous experience in Graphics Design definitely helped me a lot here. I was already very familiar with Photoshop as I had my own Graphics Design website at the age of 13. - Every sale I made only motivated me further in this area to learn and develop my skills. Just before I finished my studies, I managed to save enough to buy a Full Frame camera and a few lenses. It was the most exhilarating purchase of my life. Once the box was opened, it was a new start for me. I spent all my spare time doing Photography. I was at the phase where I was trying every aspect of Photography and enjoyed capturing everything my eye could see. I was determined to become talented in all of areas of photography, and still am to this day.
Years down the line, I am still here, shooting, capturing, a passion that will never die. I have found that I enjoy Astrophotography the most. Something about the stars and the vastness of space has always been a passion of mine since I was very young.
